Position is based at the NC Facility

Position Summary:

The Operation Support Specialist is responsible for all aspects of shipping and transportation planning at our Mocksville manufacturing facility. This role ensures seamless movement of equipment to meet customer delivery timelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities. 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Shipping  
  • Coordinate daily outbound freight activities (LTL, FTL, and International).  
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries, generate shipping documents, and ensure proper labeling and packaging.  
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and damages and resolve discrepancies.  
• Logistics & Transportation  
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely movement of equipment.  
  • Negotiate rates and service levels with freight providers to optimize cost and performance.  
  • Maintain and track all transportation-related records and documentation.  
• Administration & Compliance 
  • Prepare and maintain shipping logs, customs documents, bills of lading, and other regulatory paperwork. 
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.  
  • Assist in resolving transportation issues, customer concerns, and supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse coordination experience (manufacturing environment preferred). 
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 
• Knowledge of freight classifications, Incoterms, and transportation regulations is a plus.
