Pro Refrigeration Inc. Names Damon Reed as New Chief Operating Officer
Pro Refrigeration, Inc. is pleased to announce that Damon Reed has accepted the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Damon joined PRO in 2005, starting with the Sales Team where he advanced to the VP of Sales Position. Damon has continuously grown, personally and professionally, developing critical skills and going on to lead numerous teams at PRO, his relentless dedication leading him to this position.
Among his notable accomplishments, Damon was pivotal in PRO’s successful launch of the PROGreen Solutions CO2 Chiller System, helping PRO become the first US-based chiller manufacturer to offer an alternative chiller design using R744, a natural-based refrigerant, and proving the value and benefits to PRO’s customers. His extensive knowledge in refrigeration systems has been disseminated through numerous educational classes, cementing him as a respected authority in the field.
Damon’s influence and passion for the refrigeration Industry extends beyond the walls and interests of PRO. He recently accepted an appointment to the North Carolina State Board of Refrigeration, helping to create and administer contractor testing and training, and enforce state codes. This volunteer appointment further underscores his commitment to upholding the highest standards in refrigeration.

Based in North Carolina, Damon will oversee all operational facets of Pro Refrigeration, Inc. This includes direct leadership over PRO’s Production Team, Engineering Group, Customer Support Team, and Technical Team. His well-rounded experience and visionary outlook made him a perfect fit for this challenging new role.

Damon was raised in Idaho and spent 15 years living in Washington State before relocating in 2022 to North Carolina. Damon and his wife Breze stay very active raising their two school-age kids in North Carolina with their oldest son living on his own in WA.
