Pro Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a Tech Support Manager based in Mocksville, NC to lead a highly skilled team of Service Technicians currently based in our NC Manufacturing Facility and from the company HQ in Auburn, WA.
Job Description:
The Tech Support Manager is a key role in ensuring our customers, our dealers, and our team are provided the high level of support they need and expect.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading PRO’s front-line customer service team to provide
- Sales Support by answering basic questions and directing inquiries to the correct sales team needed.
- Managing all aspects of the Warranty Process
- Evaluate and Process all Warranty considerations
- Report all failures to the team, and any follow-up actions taken or considered.
- Manage the credits and payment transactions with suppliers and customers.
- 24/7 Remote Technical Customer Support
- via Telephone, Email, and Video Conference
- 2 technicians located in WA
- 3 Technicians located in NC
- “Emergency” Field Support
- Coordinating how to effectively get the needed personnel and parts to resolve an issue that is negatively impacting our customer’s business operations.
- “Scheduled” Field Support- on-site or regional
- Start-Up and Commissioning
- System Check-Up - Annual or when we have techs in a region
- Training on system operation, maintenance, and service.
- Tradeshow- setup and onsite support
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Customer Support:
- Be the team member that is an escalation point for all complex customer issues, providing high-level support and ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Engineering, and Product Development, to address customer needs and feedback effectively.
- Communicate issues or situations with Senior Management when liability exposure is identified and solutions are being considered or have been presented.
- Identify opportunities to streamline customer service processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall customer experience.
- Tech Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Technical Services team, ensuring they have the tools, training, and resources needed to provide outstanding customer service.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, providing feedback and development opportunities to team members.
- Warranty:
- Oversee the end-to-end warranty process, from claim initiation through resolution, confirming compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Analyze warranty trends, root causes, and opportunities for product improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering to address problems and enhance product reliability.
- We want customers to understand that no one wins in warranty situations, but we will be fair, and advocate for them with our suppliers. Also, know we always stand behind our equipment- even beyond the warranty’s expiration date.
- Training Program Development:
- We are in the early stages of developing an updated training program. Our strategy includes partnering with professional training groups, with specialized internal training focused specifically on our systems. This role will help advance the program incrementally to provide the basic training needed.
Qualifications:
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support
- 5+ years’ experience working in a Customer Service Manager position.
- Experience developing and growing a support team.
- Experience providing direct support to multiple channels that include; end users, contractors, and “internal” stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Refrigeration Equipment and Electrical Controls a plus.
- Experience supporting Dairy, or Ag focused, Equipment Contractors is a plus.
- Familiar with Industrial Equipment Dealers with an understanding of their business focus.

- Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making

- Travel requirements will be required based on the needs of the team, organization, and our clients.
Compensation:
Pro offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year depending on experience as well as a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Leave, and 401K with matching.

Job Description:
The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the company. This includes the production of financial reports, maintenance accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. The Controller is also responsible for the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
This role will be based at our Mocksville, NC, manufacturing facility, while working with a remote team based in Auburn, WA. This role will require working from our production facility located in Mocksville, NC., with potential travel opportunities on a limited basis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the Team and oversee daily operations of the Finance Department.
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll - Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Analyze and report to the CEO the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities, profitability, and potential risks to the organization.
- Cash management: Identify all sources of cash resources ensuring adequate funds are available to meet current and future obligations.
- Oversee the management of fixed assets.
- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
- Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
- Work with Supply Chain to continually review pricing of standard models.
- Oversight of inventory valuation and the conduction of an annual physical inventory.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the standard costing system to ensure it aligns with changes in vendor pricing.
- Work closely with company departments to help them achieve financial goals and deliver timely reports.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting firms to facilitate financial activities.
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Manage the process of sales tax collections and payments based on each state's requirements. Comply with local, state, and federal government compliance reporting requirements and tax filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Strong management and supervisory experience with an emphasis on managing a remote team.
- Proven experience in finance management within a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Business and Tax Compliance oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Requires being honest and ethical daily in all business matters.
- Experience with ERP system implementation.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting software or similar.
Compensation:

Pro Refrigeration, Inc., an established rapidly growing manufacturer of Refrigeration Equipment, is seeking a Factory/Field Service Technician who wants to be part of a service team on the Leading Edge of Industrial Process Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing and Service. This position is full-time and will be based out of our Mocksville, North Carolina facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Technical Services Team works nationwide with a team of Authorized Service Providers. This position will work with our Dealerships Service Managers and Technicians for scheduling and planning work to be completed in the field.
- Travel to job sites throughout North America is an essential part of this position.
- When in the factory, our Service Technician will report to the Product Manager to review any product-related improvements identified when working in the field.
- Pro performs complete factory testing of every chiller system that is produced, the Service Technician would work with our team in the Testing Center to ensure systems are operating per specification prior to shipment.
- The Service Technician will also be able to work with the manufacturing departments as needed.
- Pro provides Technical Support for all of our clients, when available, the Field Service Technician will get to aid the Technical Support team with emergency support service calls.
- Overnight travel will be required and could make up 50% of the Field Service Technician schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this position would possess the following skills and experiences
- Chiller System Repair and Maintenance
- Commercial / Industrial Refrigeration System Repair and Maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical control systems
- Experience working with Natural Refrigerants is preferred, but not required
- Customer Service Experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must be able to relate well with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Excellent written and verbal communication with customers, office, and team

Pro currently markets to the following industries; Craft Breweries, Dairies, Wineries, Distilleries, Extraction (cannabis and hemp oils) as well as numerous other food processing-related applications. A background and industry knowledge is helpful.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be willing to travel as necessary to meet sales goals. We value weekends at home as much as possible and want travel limited to M-F. Without travel restrictions, may require spending 50% of your time on the road supporting your dealers.
• Must have a background in Outside Sales
• Minimum 2-5 years sales experience
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work as a team player.
• Some knowledge of refrigeration equipment is a plus but not required
• Must have a clean driving record
